As an independent financial brokerage, our client provides a wide array of Financial Services to its Professional clients in the market including Risk, Investment, and Estate Planning. They pride themselves in providing exceptional client services unmatched within the industry. As a Junior Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing full accounting service offerings to the company's clients. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, detail-orientated, and enthusiastic. If you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, enjoy multitasking, and have excellent interpersonal and client-relational skills, this role is for you Responsibilities: Manage accounting and tax function portfolios. Produce monthly management reports Full accounting function to trial balance Drafting of annual financial statements for companies, trusts, and sole proprietors on CaseWare Provide advice on all tax and accounting matters Must have experience in e-filing (SARS) Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals and companies, VAT returns for sole proprietors, and trusts Prepare VAT returns for sole proprietors, companies, and trusts Competent to attend to all SARS correspondence Filing of notices of objections, and suspension of debt on e-filing Conduct themselves in a professional manner Must be willing to travel to clients Responsible for keeping up to date with Tax laws and Regulations Optimize tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities for clients Tax planning Compliance support Advisory services Minimum Requirements : Accounting degree or Higher Diploma (Completed or in progress) Completed articles (Preferably) Fluent knowledge of CaseWare and Pastel 1 - 3 years experience in an accounting environment Own Vehicle and Valid driver's license Remuneration : R20 000 – R30 000 monthly (Experience-dependent) Working Hours : Monday – Friday: 8 am – 4.30 pm Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted R 20000 - R 30000 - Monthly
