Structa Konsult (Pty) Ltd is a consulting engineering practice specializing in evaluation and verification of mechanical and civil engineering structures within the electrification, telecommunication, water storage, mining and petrochemical sectors. The practice is part of the Structa Group and primarily serves the Structa Group operating companies, as well as general industry. Typical design projects include electricity pylons, cell phone tower systems, bulk water storage tanks, pressure vessels and industrial support structures. Our design projects offer a unique experience in full cycle participation i.e., design, proto manufacturing, structural testing and eventual production. The practice utilizes state-of-the-art computer aided design tools including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) tools. We are currently looking for full-time junior graduate mechanical engineers, as well as trainee engineers (final year or graduate engineering students on part time basis) to assist our team with concept design of electricity pylons, cell phone towers and lighting structures. This is an ideal opportunity to learn the basics of design, detail analysis, specification application and manufacturability of design under the guidance of well qualified senior engineers. R180,000 - R240,000 per annum
