Their solutions cover the entire spectrum of payment operations, including origination, information retention, and processing, making them an indispensable partner in the financial technology sector. Job Location: Johannesburg Job Type: Full time l Hybrid Job Summary: The Key Account Manager at our client plays a pivotal role in managing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) - optional dependent on experience 1-2 Years of experience in business development / sales roles within the software development industry, more specifically in the banking and financial services sector. Experience in the Fintech Industry Experience in the EFT Clearing and Settlement environment Good understanding of payments Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients at all levels. Strategic thinker Collaborator Strong business skills and decision-making ability. Open to regular travel to other African countries for professional purposes. Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with existing clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the banking and financial services utilities Develop and deliver on sales plans to achieve business goals and targets Work closely with the Commercial Director. Conduct market research Analyse industry trends to identify potential clients. Carry out the sales process from lead identification to deal closure. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports. Work together with the support team to create and present proposals Represent our client at client engagements and industry conferences etc
