Salt Key Account Manager - Strategic Partnerships & Growth (Payments Industry) Do you have a passion for building strategic relationships and driving revenue growth for B2B clients in the payments industry? If so, we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team About the Role: In this results-oriented role, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of key medium and large enterprises within the South African market. You'll leverage your in-depth knowledge of electronic payments, collections, eCommerce, and data solutions to identify client needs and develop innovative solutions that streamline their cash flow processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, driving service delivery and organic growth through strategic account planning and cross-selling/up-selling initiatives. Conduct in-depth needs assessments with clients to identify their pain points and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with technical teams to scope solutions and create compelling proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition for each client. Manage the client on-boarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and successful service delivery. Oversee client satisfaction through regular reviews and proactive communication. Implement strategies to retain existing clients and expand their service portfolio within TCTS. Work collaboratively with internal departments (e.g., implementation specialists, marketing) to ensure seamless client experiences and successful project execution. Analyze monthly reports and client data to identify trends and opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional TCTS solutions. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (preferred) 5 years of experience in B2B strategic account management, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets. Deep understanding of the South African payments industry, including electronic payments, collections, eCommerce, and data exchange/verification solutions. Experience selling and supporting complex B2B technology solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present to C-suite executives. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to identifying client needs and developing solutions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
