Key Account Manager (FMCG) - Western Cape

They Key Account Manager be responsible to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients.

Requirements:

  • A recognized BCom degree in Marketing Management or similar
  • 4+ Years as a Key Account Manager with in the FMCG Sector

Responsibilities:

  • Develop trust relationships with our major clients.
  • Communicate the customer's requirements to the production team to ensure that the orders are scheduled, manufactured and delivered in full on time.
  • Ensure that the correct products are delivered to our customers.
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal/external production units.
  • Manage the annual contracts on a day-to-day basis.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Need to be able and willing to travel locally and internationally from time to time.

Skills:

  • Good problem solver.
  • Be able to sense needs when they arise.
  • Be organized.
  • Able to work with minimum or no supervision.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
