Key Account Manager - Logistics - Roodepoort

Duties & Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and consultants.
  • Set meetings up for external sales and maintain feedback.
  • Regularly communicate to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Be the main contact for inquiries and issues.
  • Work with teams for seamless service and problem-solving.

Account Strategy and Development:

  • Create strategies for client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Identify upselling opportunities.
  • Stay informed about market trends and feedback for strategy refinement.

Solution Customization and Consultation:

  • Analyze and offer tailored logistics solutions.
  • Work closely with consultants for business and revenue growth.
  • Provide logistics expertise.

Problem Solving and Issue Resolution:

  • Promptly address client and consultant concerns.
  • Collaborate for innovative solutions.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor KPIs related to client accounts and consultant engagement.
  • Report on performance, achievements, and improvement areas.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Client and Consultant Satisfaction: NPS, CSAT, repeat business, consultant revenue growth.
2. Revenue Growth: Increase in key account revenue, upselling, consultant revenue growth.
3. Operational Efficiency: On-time delivery, reduced transit time, successful issue resolution.
4. Communication and Responsiveness: Response time, proactive outreach frequency.
5. Independent Consultant Engagement: Consultant service percentage, satisfaction, new business
opportunities.
6. Problem Resolution: Issue resolution time, escalation rate.
7. Team Collaboration: Internal team feedback.
8. Market Insight: Sharing market insights, identifying new opportunities.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in key account management, preferably in logistics or related fields.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to strategize, solve problems, and provide customized solutions.
- Team collaboration and market analysis capabilities.
