A suitably qualified and relevantly experienced Key Account Manager (Food/FMCG Industry) is required for a well-established Food industry company in Gauteng. Responsibilities Responsible for achieving sales and customer targets for the company in the Gauteng region Understand the requirements of each client's needs and business objectives Develop and plan sales calls for effective customer buy in Demonstration and promotion of products and services to customers Build new and existing client relationships Assist and develop promotional activity to suit market and customer requirements Proactively look for new clients, markets and related opportunities Drive Sales and profits Monitor customer performance - buying, equipment and services Use Industry knowledge and product research to build market share Manage the Sales and Administration related duties effectively Timeous submission of reports Effectively manage and interact with staff involved with the position Successfully upsell the company's products, services and solutions Requirements: Matric/Grade 12 Relevant degree in Food/Food Science/Food Technology is essential Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Key Account Manager in the Food Industry is NON negotiable Previous experience in a factory food based environment would be very beneficial Strong negotiating ability and excellent verbal and written communication skills Good Computer skills (MS Office) Well-groomed and presentable Energetic and able to deal with pressure Valid Driver's license Own reliable transport Must be able to travel Salary is strictly dependent on relevant Key Account Sales, Food based experience and skill set SA Citizens Only Desired Skills: Key Account Management Sales Sales Development Prospect new customers Desired Work Experience: 5 to 10 years About The Employer: Well respected Food Based company in Gauteng
