Our client in Middelburg is looking for a Key Accounts Manager to join their team Role Description: As an FMCG Key Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients within the fast-moving consumer goods sector. Your responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio of major accounts, developing strategic plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales and distribution strategies. Negotiating pricing, promotions, and contractual agreements will be a key aspect of your role. You'll be responsible for analysing market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth. Effective communication and leadership skills are crucial as you'll be managing a team and working closely with internal stakeholders. Your goal is to not only meet revenue targets but also to enhance the overall performance and market presence of the brand within key accounts. Success in this role requires a combination of relationship-building abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the FMCG industry. Qualifications: Tertiary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field will be an advantage. Proven experience in key account management within the FMCG sector, typically 3 years. In-depth understanding of the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Familiarity with market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with key clients and internal teams. Proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. Focus on achieving measurable outcomes and enhancing the brand's market presence.
