Experienced Systems Administrator required to assist in providing 2nd line support and ongoing maintenance and configuration related to various computer and networking hardware, software and application components. Job Title: Systems Administrator – Server (JB2014) Location: Bryanston; Johannesburg Benefits included: Pension; Medical Aid 13th Cheque Duration: Permanent Job Summary: Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure existing hardware and networks are well managed and supported Ensure the effective delivery of IT services through implementation and execution of IT processes in both hardware and software Ensure the telecommunications and internal networks are well maintained and secured in line with policies and practices Ensure that the software deployed within IT environment is maintained in line with IT software asset management policies and practices and software vendors Support fellow IT team members to ensure they are equipped to support the 1st line and 2nd line functions Providing technical application and software input and support for core business systems such as the property management systems and central reservations systems Minimum Requirements: Degree / Diploma in computer science, IT or computer engineering 3 or more years in a similar role Previous experience with: Active Directory Backup related products (VEAAM, Backup Exec) – advanced Citrix XenApp Exchange Juniper switching and security appliances MS Office Patch Management PowerShell SQL (or other database platforms) and related products (SSRS, etc) VMWare VCAP Hospitality experience would be beneficial Desired Experience & Qualification: Minimum Requirements: Degree / Diploma in computer science, IT or computer engineering 3 or more years in a similar role Package & Remuneration: R25 000 – R30 000 CTC per Month Benefits included: Pension; Medical Aid 13th Cheque To Apply: Click Here
