JOB SPECIFICATION: KYC ANALYST JOB SUMMARY: The KYC Analyst is responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet specified requirements and for ensuring risk exposure is reduced by verifying the identities of new customers. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reputation of Banxso by preventing and detecting potential violations and unethical behaviour. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Verify and validate documentation and information supplied by customers when signing up for new accounts. • Keep up to date on any process and regulatory changes. • To report any suspicious activities on customer accounts. • To aid the verification team as and when required. • To uphold and maintain daily and monthly targets. • To always uphold company brand and provide good customer service. • Optimize and continuously improve SLAs regarding verification queues. • Assist on KYC reporting insights daily/weekly/monthly. • Understand, interpret, and manipulate data for reporting purposes. • Meet with key business partners/leaders and conduct/sit in collaborations. • Conducting EDD for existing high-risk customers. • Ability to conduct initial and ongoing due diligence on high-risk customers. • Support our Customer Success team with any queries related to KYC as and when required. • Understanding of various typologies to circumvent risks associated with high-risk customers. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • CAMS/ICA certification or University degree (Preferred but not compulsory). • 3 years of relevant work experience in customer onboarding (KYC – Corporate & Individual) and/or quality assurance. • Computer proficiency. • Previous AML/CFT would be beneficial, specifically in EDD (Enhanced Due diligence). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments. • Strong attention to detail, report writing and documenting outcomes of investigations. • Problem solving mentality and rigorous analytical thought.
