Good knowledge of chemistry for lab environment (3 to 5 years experience). Previous experience of Powder coating plant will be advantageous Previous knowledge and experience with international quality standards will be advantageous Must be willing to work extended hours including weekends as when necessary Good knowledge and understanding of chemicals • Analytical testing experience in a lab environment • Assist CEO to ensure business compliance policies and procedures are adhered to • Ensure QC/QA responsibilities are done on a daily basis (international quality standards) • Maintain control of retention samples in the QC lab • Assist with investigating of internal and external NCRs • Assist with writing and revising Standard Operating Procedures for lab testing procedures • Maintain and use equipment assigned to the department • Manage consumables and chemicals used in the laboratory and factory • Daily inspection of factory • Work with production team to sample and test final products • Maintain Demin Plant • Maintain Effluent Plant • Oversee and advise on the pre-treatment tanks • Completion of Production Sheets & Quality Control Sheets Minimum Matric Grade 12 with Physics and Chemistry pass A Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role will be beneficial A Tertiary Education (Diploma) in the required field will be an advantageous A market related salary will be offered and will be determined on the candidates skills and experience.
