The Lamination Operator will be responsible for good quality production. Ensure Laminating and Inspection processes take place in the shortest possible time to produce products that always conform to all specifications at the maximum possible speed producing no waste. Do running quality checks to ensure products consistently conform to all specifications. Ensure the ISO 22000 Environmental Management Systems policies, procedures, and SOPs are always adhered to. Ensure all events that occur on and / or affect the machine during a shift are logged accurately (duration and description, product and quality). Ensure that the required machine maintenance is reported and carried out. Ensure machines and equipment are always kept clean and a full clean to required standards is done when scheduled. Ensure that all tasks allocated by the Supervisor or HOD to you are executed effectively. Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics as a pass. 3 years previous Lamination experience in a flexible packaging environment, which includes solvent. Trade tested Operator or RPL High level of numeracy Ability to communicate fluently in English including reading and neat handwriting. Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Be able to have attention to detail. Be able to solve problems. Be able to work smart and efficiently. Be a team player. Have a high level of concentration. Be able to think analytically.
