Job Description: Generate concept and feasibility reports, as well as draft tender documents and bills of quantities Coordinate tender adjudications and manage contractual processes efficiently Engineer ventilation systems to meet statutory requirements and develop pressurization and pressure cascade systems. Design intricate heating and cooling systems, including chilled water and VRF systems, and plan reticulation systems for chilled water or condenser water Create designs for condensate drainage, fresh air, and extract systems, ensuring functionality and compliance Select pumps, fans, and duct systems to optimize performance and airflow efficiency Manage projects, supervise HVAC designs and services, and work towards expanding the client base Develop standard drawings for specifications and provide comprehensive reports on project progress and financial status Conduct ongoing training for junior staff, and actively engage with manufacturers and suppliers to build a diverse materials and equipment library while aligning project strategies with client objectives Travel to African countries for solution implementation, deployment, and roll-out Comply with the use of company-issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC System Design Advanced Revit skills with demonstrated competency in MEP services advantageous Experience with bills of quantities and coordinating tender adjudications Familiarity with ventilation systems design, pressurization and pressure cascade systems designs Heating and cooling systems, including chilled water and VRF systems project exposure Proven participation in the design of condensate drainage, fresh air, duct, and extract systems Green Building Design experience will be advantageous Qualification: BSc, BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering ECSA registration required Green Building Design qualification preferred Management Diploma desirable Post-Graduate Project Management or PMP/Prince2 certification advantageous Valid driver’s license is essential Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
