Ingrain is looking for a Lead PMO to manage, direct, plan, organise, schedule and co-ordinate strategic engineering projects initiatives to support operations. This role supports the strategy by: • Leading the development of strategic egineering projects and initiatives for cost effective project management • Directing programs and interventions aimed at reducing risks in terms of technologies utilised • Reviewing of all capital applications to ensure optimum utilisation of capital spend • Management of Technical Request and HACCP systems The key outputs this role contributes to the business: Financial • Develops and communicates operational strategy and plans aligned with THS strategy • Achieves results through others with optimal use of resources • Gives input into budgeting, monitors cash flow and reporting • Best means for sourcing of equipment People • Coaching and mentoring of mill Process Engineers with intention of improving service levels to the mills. • Support and assist colleagues in developing technical or process solutions. • Clearly communicates business values, Ingrain strategic goals and departmental goals. • Responsible for the performance management of team members and providing appropriate feedback relating to department goals and team members. • Responsible for developing, coaching and mentoring team • Delegates tasks/areas of responsibility in accordance with team strengths and development areas Business Processes • Effective engineering and decision support to mills for optimisation of processes to achieve benchmarked efficiencies, process reliability and business plan requirements. • Sourcing and development of process technologies relevant to the industry in achievement of process improvements and strategic goals. • Co-ordination and facilitation of mill process engineer's initiatives and activities to conform to best practises. • Technical/Engineering knowledge management. • Planning and distribution of team activities • Streamlines work instructions • Ensures team operates within SHERQ standards • Mapping and drives activities/work flow processes to ensure value add in department. • Ensure adequate availability of tools, resources (incl. raw materials) and training to the team • Challenge status quo of business processes for optimization of operational efficiencies and cost benefits. Customers (Internal & External) • Understand customer needs and supplier contributions to drive operational results • Listen to, accurately captures and actions customers expectations, ideas and concerns • Builds effective working relationship with key stakeholders Sustainability • Ensures team focus on safety, health, environment and community activities and measures Qualifications Degree in Project Management Post graduate diploma in management or equivalent Knowledge Wetmilling Production Operations SAP Project Management Business reporting skills Planning Experience 10 years experience in Project Management in FMCG, Food & Beverage Manufacturing Apply Now
