Role Purpose: Develop, Design, and Manage the Leadership Development strategy and framework. Responsible for providing an integrated approach to Leadership Development across the Vodacom South Africa (VSA) business. This is role is also responsible for ensuring data-driven Leadership Development decision-making and that Leadership Programmes/ Initiatives are implemented and managed by the leadership development team. Your responsibilities will include: Design a suite of programmes that create a clear career path from first line manager through to the executive team so that leadership potential is developed in line with organisational need. Plan and deliver leadership development activities which incorporate a variety of learning methodologies to ensure that our managers are equipped with the skills and capabilities required to build future ready leaders. Embed understanding of our leadership behaviours and the leadership competency framework at all levels across the organisation and support leaders and managers in ensuring that they demonstrate the desired behaviours consistently. Assist in the development of coaching as a key leadership style by ensuring that coaching principles and skills are built into leadership and management development programmes. Evaluate the impact of existing and new leadership development interventions in order to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance the current offer to support leaders in achieving their full potential. Develop and maintain an emphasis on internal learning with strategic use of external partners where appropriate. Manage and govern relevant policies, processes, and practices for all Leadership Development initiatives. Partner with stakeholders and strategic business partners across VSA to identify capability development needs aligned with the business leadership model. Provide an integrated communication and execution plan across VSA. Partner with Business Schools/ Providers to design impactful programmes and ensure successful execution. Proactively builds knowledge and competence, looking externally for best practice and implements innovative leadership development solutions, to support the talent development agenda. Lead a cohesive team and develop team and individual capability by leveraging strengths and providing opportunities for growth. Liaise with Talent Management and Learning & Development to identify, scale and evaluate organisational wide leadership development programs and initiatives. Lead and manage leadership development and coaching supplier relationships and contractual obligations. Develop and implement a consistent evaluation framework to measure the effectiveness and value of the leadership development programs and behaviour change in leader cohorts. Support other key culture, engagement, transformation, and leadership projects as required. The ideal candidate for this role will have: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, post graduate preferable. 5 years Leadership Development experience Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: Demonstrated experience in working in a strategic Learning and Development, Organisational Development or Leadership Development with a strong focus on needs analysis and effective practice leadership approaches. Deep Organisation Development/ L&D expertise Talent Management expertise Proven ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders. Broad HR Knowledge High level of commercial acumen and business knowledge Skilled at leading and driving impactful change initiatives across a matrix organisation. Proven project management and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while working with ambiguity.
