Reputable and well established debt solutions group situated in Durban seeks a dynamic individual who is passionate about learning and development to manage their team. At least 5 years' experience as a L & D Manager is essential. Experience within financial services / call centre sector is advantageous but not essential. Formulating and implementing the L&D strategy for the Group Consulting business to implement effective L&D solutions. Developing and managing relationships with all role players. Facilitating leadership, change, OD and management interventions. Providing L&D support as part of a cross functional project team. Leading and managing L&D staff and creating a healthy team. Analysing information for logical decision making. Controlling the L&D budget. Compiling monthly L&D report. Guiding senior managers on the group team coaching process. Partnering with HR to ensure L&D interventions support talent management and succession planning in a strategic manner. Evaluate individual and organizational development needs Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training) Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainings. Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities Help managers develop their team members through career pathing – 1st Time Managers – Development Involved in the Implementation of different “New Projects – End to End” – Client Onboarding Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs Maintaining relationships with vendors and consultants Performance Management and documenting through KPI’s linked to employee’s job roles Using performance reviews and skills gap analyses to identify training needs per department, team and individual Planning training programs based on business goals Oversee learning activities, curriculum and resources which include Script Design, Client Comms & QA Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to establish a culture of continuous learning Recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses and game-based platforms) Review and evaluate training and apprenticeship programs for compliance with government standards and specific legislations Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees – Design Courses that aims at upskilling future leaders – 1st Time Managers – Team Leader Development Coordinate established courses with technical and professional courses provided by community schools and designate training procedures. Being at the forefront of new systems that are proposed and doing enough research to provide the company with a detailed evaluation report Helping in the design, development and Implementation of systems manuals and company roll out of it Responsible for the development of employees and ensure that they have development plans in place and are using the SMART goal process to map out the goals of your Department and Team Collaborate with the Business to ensure proper implementation of Training related roll outs, policies and procedures At least 5 years' experience as a L & D Manager Solid Development experience is ESSENTIAL Experience within financial services / call centre sector is advantageous but not essential.
