NORTH-WEST UNIVERSITY (MAHIKENG CAMPUS) FACULTY OF NATURAL AND AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES VACANCY: LECTURER POSITION NUMBER: M000713 PEROMNES: A8 EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PERMANENT APPOINTMENT PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Teaching and Learning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching. Research. Community engagement. An MSc (NQF level 9) in Agricultural Economics. Membership with the Agricultural Economics Society of South Africa (AESA). A minimum of three (3) years' experience in teaching and research. KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Economic development, Farm management, farm planning, accounting, and linear programming. KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: Professional, credible, and good level of integrity. REMUNERATION The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
