Legal Advisor - Upington
Minimum requirements:
Legal/HR qualification
Additional qualification/certificate/diploma in Labour Law will be an added advantage
Drafting experience of all labour law related documents, including but not limited to policies, warnings, contracts of employment, etc.
Experience in the chairing of disciplinary enquiries
Experience in union negotiations
Experience in retrenchments
Experience in poor work performance inquiries
Experience in ill health enquiries
CCMA and Bargaining Council representation
Must have extensive knowledge of the BCEA and LRA
Must reside close to the area or be willing to relocate
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
To start as soon as possible
It would be an added advantage if the candidate has knowledge/experience of:
UIF and COIDA
BEE
Employment Equity
Skills Development
Bargaining Council main agreements, including MIBCO, MEIBC, NBCRFLI, etc.
