Legal Advisor with HR Managerial experience - FMCG sector Responsibilities: Provide accurate and timely legal advice to management and staff on a range of legal topics including contracts, regulatory compliance, labor law, and company policies. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company's interests are protected. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company. Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as necessary. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures. Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation, working with external legal counsel where appropriate. Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including preparing and submitting necessary documentation to regulatory authorities. Provide training and support to staff on legal issues and compliance matters. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to provide a legal perspective. All aspects of HR Management Requirements: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution. Admission as an attorney or advocate in South Africa. Minimum of 5 years of HR and legal experience, preferably in a corporate or commercial law setting. Strong knowledge of South African corporate, contract, and labor law. Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
