Job DescriptionMy client is a manufacturer of a wide range of chemical products and their subsequent application in industry. They are looking for a SENIOR R&D CHEMIST with at least 8 YEARS R&D experience in the Epoxy / Cementitious Field. You will be responsible for the following: Management of technical activities in the lab. Development of procedures and test methods in raws, in-process and final products in accordance with ISO regulations. New products research and development of raw materials and alternatives as well as optimization of existing products. Manage Lab staff and ensure that the Laboratory is properly resourced to meet set objectives / targets. Onsite technical service and inspection. Must live on the East Rand not negotiable.
QualificationsMIN BSc HONOURS in Chemistry. Will look at an MSc.
