Our client in the fleet management services and complementary industries is looking for a Tail lift Technician to join their team. Service and repairs on tailifts, DH lifts, tailift SA, Phalfinger etc. Wiring of lights and basic electrical on truck and trailer Basic understanding of solar systems Correctly analyze and assess problem areas as to minimize downtime Safety and annually load test certificates. Monthly service and system test on the close circuit hydraulic system Ensure that the safety SOP is adhered to when a breakdown is attended, and client vehicles have minimum of risk of an accident. Adhere to breakdown safety protocols. Apply SHEQ rules and regulations as prescribed by company policy and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times. Housekeeping and health and safety adherence. Administrating and regular reporting to management regarding breakdowns, repairs, and services. Ensure job-cards is completed as per company policy and procedures with all supporting documentation. Perform ancillary duties to the above and determined by management on an ongoing basis. Ensure company breakdown vehicles are clean, inspected and log-sheets with breakdown register is completed on all shifts. Technician to have hydraulic and electrical experience on electrical valves and solenoids testing and fault finding. Technician to have experience in hand tools and testers for testing voltage and Amp draws on wiring. Must have Grade 12. Tailift technician by knowledge and experience with at least 5 years' experience in Skyjacks, Dhollandia Palfinger and SA Tailifts in column and cantilever lifts. 5 Year experience in hydraulic or auto electrician is required with qualification of hydraulic fitter or auto electrician. Focus on details and quality of work on tailifts. Own transport essential. Code EC with PDP license preferable. Own tools essentials. Two contactable references and clear criminal record.
