Reference: CPT003525-Del-1 Are you a tech-savvy Litigation secretary with approximately three years of litigation experience? Our client, based in the Cape Town CBD requires your expertise and relevant experience working in a commercial litigation department to join their dynamic team. REQUIREMENTS Matric, tertiary qualifications highly beneficial (Legal Secretarial N4-N6 or a related National Diploma) Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience working in a commercial litigation department (including administrative duties related thereto) Must have experience in general litigation processes and protocols Must have experience working with court and online systems (Caselines/Court Online/Windeed/CIPC) Must be able to type and do dictaphone typing (above 60 words per minute) Experience with FICA requirements and Lexpro Bookkeeping System highly beneficial Computer literate (Full proficiency and ability to utilise and operate all suites of Microsoft Office) Must be a South African citizen DUTIES Provide secretarial and administrative support to Attorneys in commercial/litigation department Preparation, formatting and compilation of pleadings, affidavits, memoranda, correspondences and bills of costs Opening of files and debiting of fees on Lexpro Schedule and set up appointments, client meetings and virtual meetings, court hearings or appearances. Transcribe and proofread legal documents and pleadings Type letters, affidavits, pleadings, bills of costs, legal opinions and documents Complete Dictaphone typing speedily and accurately Debit fees, generate or process invoices and bill clients Salary: R dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
