Ref: AH 415937 - High Court Litigation Secretary (Banking Law/VAF) Employer Description A well established law practice specializing mostly in Banking Law (Litigation). Located in Johannesburg near Rosebank. Job Description Our client seeks a Strong Experienced Senior Litigation Secretary with a Stable Track Record (5 Years spent at each Company). The role will be to support a well-established VAF Department, reporting to the Senior Associate Attorney/HOD of this department and the Director. The role will work mostly on the ABSA Book of business doing Individual and Corporate VAF Work (to include individual vehicles but also fleets of Farming Vehicles/Equipment). We seek an experienced Secretary who can come in and hit the ground running, working with Correspondent Attorneys, Dealing with Courts, Sheriffs. The role is very Admin intensive so exceptionally strong Admin and organizational skills required. In Office working hours are either 7-4 or 8-5. Some after hours work at home may be required to meet deadlines and turnaround times. Qualifications Relevant qualifications will prove advantageous but not essential if well-experienced. Skills 20 Years of experience in Litigation/High Court Litigation Processes. Previous Banking Law/VAF Litigation Support experience. Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Stable Track Record - long lengths of service at each of your employers. Exceptional Administration skills. Strong Typing, and Drafting skills. Organized and efficient working methods. Good Communication and interpersonal skills. Salary / Package Highly Negotiable Benefits Negotiable
