Our client in the Agriculture industry, based in Kirkwood area, is currently looking to employ a Logistics Coordinator. An awesome career opportunity awaits. Requirements: Grade 12.Computer literate – MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).Working experience in Cold stores will be advantageous.Valid driver’s license. Responsibilities: Ensure that allocation of pallets to rooms is done intelligently to minimize handling and costs.Manage and minimize damages and related costs.Ensure that load-outs are prepared and executed within specification and in good time.Maintenance of the cold chain.Oversee PPECB & DAFF inspections. Additional Requirements: Ability to manage a team of people and equipment.Ability to forecast and plan ahead.Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Available to work overtime when required.Hands on and interactive management style approach.
