Logistics Coordinator (Bulk Products) - Swellendam
Short Summary:The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and coordinate Bulk Oil loads.Responsibilities: Logistics Planning of Bulk Oil Loads (Primary Focus) Planning and coordinating Bulk Oil delivered to clients and oils coming into the company.Allocate sales and draft sales orders captured on the systems for the requested customer.Update planning schedule according to set parameters on the shared file.Communicate any requested planning changes that deviate from requested delivery dates to sales.Planning sales delivery two weeks in advance according to draft sales orders.Updating planning one week in advance and drafting the sales orders.Finalizing planning 48 hours in advance with the sales orders.Coordinate delivery schedule with the collection schedule to optimize truck efficiency.Send Logistic Plan to all relevant parties by 10h00 the day before loading the trucks.Minimize Transport and Other Costs Fleet utilization and profitability on dedicated vehicles according to the industry benchmark.Best transport quotations per client and designated routes.Get the best transport costs and keep extra costs to a minimum.Efficient Movement to Customer Plan effective loading and delivery dates and time to clients.Effective Route and Truck Planning Planning the most cost-effective route according to the client delivery.Truck allocation according to the sales orders.Book third party transport within set parameters to ensure on-time delivery.Communicate between the transporters and clients according to the client''s expectations.Export Administration Handle full communication Between transporters and the border.General export administration of export clients.Completed clearing and delivery instructions with delivery documents.Follow up on all internal documentation.Filing of all documentation regarding export orders.Receiving and distributing the necessary documentation.Import Administration Plan the import of products.Handle full communication Between transporters, harbour, clients, and warehouses.Ensure slot bookings are in place for collection and delivery of import products.Follow up on all internal documentation.Receiving and distributing the necessary documentation.Processing of Delivery Documents to Clients Ensure all documentation is gathered once trucks are loaded at the suppliers.Packed Product and Protein Product (Secondary Focus) Planning and coordinating Packed Products deliveries and Protein deliveries to clients.Allocate sales orders and draft sales orders, captured on the system, for the requested customer.Update planning schedule according to set parameters on Frameworks.Communicate any requested planning changes that deviate from requested delivery dates to sales.Planning sales delivery two weeks in advance according to the draft sales orders.https://protool.gumtree.co.za/external-link-browser.html?urlaHR0cHM6Ly9lbi16YS53aGF0am9icy5jb20vY29vcG9iX19jcGxfX18xMTA5XzY4MTUxX180OTc/dXRtX3NvdXJjZT1ndW10cmVlJnV0bV9tZWRpdW09ZmVlZCZrZXl3b3JkPQ&jid1168187&xid1109_68151
