Develop and implement an integrated logistics management system and strategy to support the business object.
Ensure the provision of stockpile space at the Mines, Sidings and Port are strategically situated to provide a service to the clients
Performance analysis of the overall budget/expenses for the logistics operation and
Determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transport services
Ensure the logistics processes are streamlined
Negotiate pricing for market rates and driving improvements, evaluate all viable
Negotiate and conclude contracts for inbound and outbound logistics
Ensure efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function in Accordance with legislation, fraud prevention, risk management principles, company
Strategic supplier relationships and negotiations
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in logistics management, business administration, or a related field
7 to 10 years of experience in logistics management environment
3 to 5 years experience as a Supervisor / Manager
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software such as Nimbus
