Logistics Manager - Mining Operations - Dundee

• Develop and implement an integrated logistics management system and strategy to support the business object.
• Ensure the provision of stockpile space at the Mines, Sidings and Port are strategically situated to provide a service to the clients
• Performance analysis of the overall budget/expenses for the logistics operation and
• Determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transport services
• Ensure the logistics processes are streamlined
• Negotiate pricing for market rates and driving improvements, evaluate all viable
• Negotiate and conclude contracts for inbound and outbound logistics
• Ensure efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function in Accordance with legislation, fraud prevention, risk management principles, company
• Strategic supplier relationships and negotiations

• Bachelor's degree in logistics management, business administration, or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience in logistics management environment
• 3 to 5 years experience as a Supervisor / Manager
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software such as Nimbus
