We currently have the above position available at our Flexible Packaging Printing facility and wish to invite all suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration. The incumbent, reporting to the Commercial Manager , will play a key role in optimizing our warehouse and logistics operations across 2 sites of the company. Warehouse Management : Strategically plan and manage warehouse layout, ensuring efficient space utilization and smooth material flow. Implement best practices for inventory management, including stock rotation and space optimization. Process Control : Ensure SOP and process adherence compliance, for inventory and its related transactions. Despatch Operations : Coordinate and oversee the despatch of products to customers, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. Collaborate with transportation providers to optimize routes and minimize delivery times and costs. Goods Receiving: Manage the inbound receiving process, including inspection, verification, and documentation of incoming materials. Ensure compliance with quality standards and timely processing of received goods. Stock Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory. Collaborate with production teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels. Fleet management: Manage Fork Lift and delivery vehicle fleet, including sub-contracting delivery. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members meet performance targets and adhere to safety protocols. APICS / CIPS or similar qualification would be an advantage Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the packaging industry or a related field. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics best practices. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Relevant qualification in Logistics Management would be advantageous Apply Now
