QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric Certificate / Grade 12
- Degree OR other qualification in Business Administration / Logistics or similar FMCG
- BONUS - knowledge and understanding of the Spa/Beauty industries
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of THREE years of experience in import management, logistics, or related field
- Strong understanding of import processes, customs regulations, and logistics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and import-related software
SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
- Daily management of all inventories in conjunction with our warehouse
- Forecasting of product required for specific periods.
- Placing of orders, ensuring correct pricing, accurate quantities ordered and received.
- Costings of potential products/ranges
- Coordinate with suppliers and shipping agents for timely shipment of orders.
- Receiving and processing of orders upon arrival.
- Stock counts - running stock counts quarterly.
- Working with the sales team for monthly specials
- Working with Sales and online retail clients
- Managing and maintaining online retail product listings with various online retailers
- Management of order forms
- Responding to and dealing with any inventory queries
- Management of online ordering website by managing product listings, product visibility, pricing and imagery.
- Also responsible for setting discounts and promotions.
- Sourcing of local suppliers as required.
- Creation and management of purchase orders, Receiving of stock and inventory related invoices.
- Management and submission of faulty products quarterly
- Provide support to Operations and General Manager as well as admin and Sales team as required.

- Inventory Management: Ability to oversee inventory levels, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
- Transportation Management: Knowledge of transportation modes, routing, and regulations to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing transportation costs.
- Warehouse Operations: Familiarity with warehouse layout, storage systems, and inventory control methods to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data analytics tools to interpret logistical data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance operational performance.
