Description Logistics Planner required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in East London , Eastern Cape Requirements Logistics tertiary qualification is essential Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience within the automotive manufacturing environment essential Display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently Good communicator Good administrative experience and computer skills are essential i.e. Pivot tables Responsibilities: To place weekly raw material orders on suppliers Track customer variation on orders that could be transmitted to our supplier base Expedite orders using the standard transport mode Escalate material or supply problems Ensure to monitor on-time delivery Ensure that all imports requirements are met (FCL/LCL requirements - TO's , forecasts, etc) Review and action delivery discrepancies Manage excess and obsolescence management, engineering change management of parts Work with the team on CIPs Cycle count control of parts at risk / needing review Supplier management Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at [Email Disabled] Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
