Cost Analysis Understand the running costs of vehicles to determine Cost Per Kilometre (CPK). Analyse commodity trends and adapt strategies to market fluctuations. Performance Tracking Regularly track and analyse performance against targets and budgets, identifying areas for improvement. ETA Tracking and Communication Follow up with transporters to determine the accurate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) of trucks. Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about the status of their cargo. Haulage Services Provide timely and efficient haulage services to meet Teraka Logistics delivery deadlines. Maintain constant contact with clients and haulers to develop strong relationships and secure business. Negotiation and Quotations Negotiate tariffs, fees, discounts, and contracts with clients and haulers. Compile quotations for both new and established clients to ensure competitive pricing and service. They should have at least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the transport industry. We prefer someone with a relevant qualification (degree or diploma). Own book would be beneficial. Ability to provide excellent customer service and to build relationships. Ability to work in a team. Organised and able to track transactions. Prepared to travel. Strong understanding of road freight logistics and supply chain management.
