Good Day, A large company based Clayville is seeking Load Controllers, must have matric. Duties of a Load Controller Weight and Balance Calculations: Plan and calculate the distribution of passengers, cargo, and fuel. Prepare and verify load sheets. Coordination and Communication: Work with ground crew and flight crew to ensure proper loading. Provide weight distribution and cargo details to the flight crew. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all loading activities comply with aviation regulations. Implement and monitor safety protocols. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of load plans and weight calculations. Report any irregularities or safety concerns. Operational Efficiency: Optimize the use of loading equipment and manpower. Coordinate loading activities to avoid flight delays. Special Cargo Handling: Manage the loading of special cargo like hazardous materials and live animals. Follow specific handling procedures for special cargo. Training and Development: Train ground staff on loading techniques and safety. Integrate industry best practices into operations. Customer Service: Assist with passenger queries related to baggage and cargo. Resolve issues with passenger baggage or cargo loads. Experience and Qualifications for a Load Controller Experience: Relevant Industry Experience: Prior experience in aviation, logistics, or ground handling operations. Experience with weight and balance calculations and load planning. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using load planning software and tools. Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards. Operational Knowledge: Understanding of aircraft types and their loading requirements. Knowledge of cargo handling procedures and equipment. Qualifications: Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or certification in aviation or logistics is beneficial. Certifications: Certification in weight and balance or load planning from a recognized aviation authority. Hazardous materials handling certification (if applicable). Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Soft Skills: Problem-solving skills.
