Our client, a leader in packaging solutions, is looking for a qualified machine builder to join their production team. Job description: Your mastery will be crucial in configuring, troubleshooting, and testing machinery to guarantee peak efficiency. You'll supervise the setup and activation of machines at customer sites and deliver expert assistance until final approval is secured Furthermore, you'll manage maintenance tasks, provide post-sales support, and conduct rigorous quality checks to maintain our client's exacting standards Skills & Experience: At least 7 years of experience required, showcasing expertise in building, testing, debugging, assembling, and commissioning packaging machines, with a strong proficiency in hydraulics, and fluid mechanics Ability to assemble machinery in accordance with engineering blueprints and specifications Team Collaboration with Independence: Capable of effective teamwork while also possessing the autonomy to work independently Preferred experience with blow moulders, fillers, unscramblers, end-of-line equipment and cappers Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and travel nationally and internationally as necessary Technical Competence: Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic fault finding, as well as TIG welding of stainless steel, will be advantageous Valid Driver's License Qualification: Recognized qualification as a Millwright, Qualified Fitter or Fitter & Turner Minimum of 7 years' experience in assembling packaging machines according to engineering drawings and specifications In addition to a competitive salary and comprehensive company benefits, our client offers exceptional growth opportunities and professional development experiences.
