Job Title: Machine Operator (Guillotine and Press) Job Summary: The Machine Operator (Guillotine and Press) will be responsible for the safe and proficient operation of guillotine and press machines to cut, shape, and fabricate materials essential to the bodybuilding industry. They will ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and production targets. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate guillotine and press machines following provided specifications and work orders. Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper cutting, shaping, and fabrication of materials used in bodybuilding equipment. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on fabricated materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. Take corrective actions when deviations from quality standards are identified. Material Handling: Load materials into the machines, ensuring appropriate measurements and alignment to achieve precise cuts and shapes. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Identify and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions to maintain a continuous production flow. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Report any safety hazards, incidents, or injuries promptly to the appropriate personnel. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and meet deadlines. Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding machine status, production progress, and any potential issues. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and quality checks. Complete required documentation for each job, including materials used and time taken for completion. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of experience as a Machine Operator, with a focus on guillotine and press operations in the bodybuilding industry. Proficient in operating and adjusting guillotine and press machines. Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
