Reporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent will regulate the production process flow through & plant, prepares plant for variable trends and makes adjustments according to the plan. Be responsible for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and machines in the production environment.

Requirements

Grade 12
3-5 Years experience in Injection Moulding
Clear Criminal Record

Key Responsibilities:

Setting parameters and operating large Injection Moulding Machine
Experience as an Injection Moulding Machine Setter or similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ensure correct and efficient production runs (minimal scrap levels)
Optimal asset utilisation, tasks delivered on time and as planned
Efficient in material mixing process, breakdown and quality procedures
Ensure correct and efficient production changes
Assist in the management of losses (Theft, shrinkage, etc.)
Provide excellent customer experience and maintain good internal & external stakeholder relations
Provide critical customer feedback 1o supervisor
Organise own work effectively to complete tasks on-time and per priority
Ensure all reports on time and at the right quality
Ensure all production papers are filed correctly
Maintain good communication with all departments and co- workers
Ensure all tooling is clean and packed away safely after use
Ensure factory hygiene, housekeeping and safety practices are adhered to, at all
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications(advantageous)
Technical training or certification in injection moulding technology (advantageous).
