Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications. Strong mathematical skills to accurately measure and calculate dimensions for bending operations. Attention to detail and the ability to ensure precision and accuracy in all bending and shaping tasks. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle metal plates and sheets effectively. Knowledge of different types of metals, their characteristics, and how they respond to bending operations. Good problem-solving skills to identify and resolve minor machine issues. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines. Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and convey important information. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting. Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations. Familiarity with quality control procedures and the ability to perform inspections on finished products. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time. Willingness to undergo training and continuing education to stay updated with new techniques and technologies in press brake operations.
