Reference: EL002778-Glyni-1 We are seeking a Machine Tool Setter for a permanent role, based in East London, Eastern Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with Machine Tool Setter or Fitting & Turning Trade Test qualification essential Knowledge of IATF quality systems related to machine shop 3-5 years production/technical experience in a manufacturing environment / production facility in a Machine Shop Department Ability to set/maintain all machines within the Machine Shop including writing programs for the CNC Machines The successful applicants would be responsible for, but not limited to: Be able to program CNC machine Centers & Lathes. Load programmes and set machines Have the ability to read micrometers & verniers Able to measure accurately with precision measuring instruments Be able to interpret Engineering drawings Be able to create and read programs Work independently, unsupervised File programs and new programs in a user-friendly format Reduce cycle times per operation Operating CNC machine Clocking jigs, vices & tools on CNC machine work area Sorting, setting tools & holders Ability to re-sharpen all kinds of cutting tool (drills, form etc) Perform necessary maintenance on equipment Salary: R18 000.00 - R22 000.00 per month Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements through to glynisbsheldon.co.za with “Machine Tool Setter” in the subject line If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful R18 000.00 - R22 000.00 - Monthly
