Reference: ELS000380-IP-1 An exciting opportunity has opened with our client within the pharmaceutical industry for a Maintenance and Stores Administrator in East London. Main responsibilities: Engineering and Material stores: Responsible for the computerized maintenance system Check incoming goods against delivery notes or tax invoices Inform order originator that goods have been delivered (find originator against order number on computer) Place store items into stock locations. Issue goods against stores requisitions. Update stock on computer by using the correct check and part numbers and cost allocations Performs stock takes as per the client requirements and notify the Team Leader when the stock on the shelves differ from that on the computer Notify the Team Leader periodically of goods that need replenishing Conduct stock counts and adjust stock balances. Issue hand tools to artisans as requested. Record names of artisans requesting hand tools on a list. Check if all hand tools are returned at end of shift. Also check condition of returned hand tools and if they are safe for further use. (Ladders, safety harness, and all hand tools) Ensure that stores are kept clean, tidy and safe Ensure that stock taken during the night shift is recorded onto the system as soon as possible to keep the inventory levels up to date Customer service level. Purchasing: Establish criteria for maximum and minimum stock levels Establish ordering levels taking onto account delivery lead times to ensure maximum, yet effective stock levels Monitor stock movement so that redundant items are highlighted and deviations in item usage is identified and the relevant adjustments made Purchasing of items kept in the stores and dealing with the various service providers Ensuring that the best prices are paid for items / services Loads Purchase Orders (PO) for the purchase of goods Liaises with service providers to ensure that goods / services are received as agreed upon General Engineering: Ensure that all work is done in a safe manner and all equipment used complies with Safety Standards. Support the companies Environmental Management programme to achieve the identified objectives and targets and fulfil the Safety and Environmental responsibilities assigned by senior management. Supports and assists with any work activity as requested by the Maintenance Lead. Ensuring that the engineering stores is effectively operated and in compliance with all relevant policies and procedures Compliance: Understand and apply Good Manufacturing Practices/Quality Standards and Micro practices. Housekeeping Assessments achieve a 4 Rating. Ensure adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSAct) Be aware of and understand the relevant EHS Guidelines and ISO14001 Admin Support for Site Calibration Admin Support for Annual Qualification Plan Admin Support for Audit Action Plans Planned Maintenance PMP support Supports and assists with any work activity as requested by the Reliability and Qualifications Engineer. Candidate Requirements Qualification & Experience: Matric Diploma in inventory and stores control - Advantageous Knowledge & Skills: Engineering and Material Stores Control Purchasing and Procurement Good Command of English written and orally Compliance Computer literacy Apply Now
