Their expertise and support empowers farmers to optimize production and ensure animal well-being, benefiting agriculture locally and internationally.The Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for planning the maintenance schedule, conducting inspections and repairs of machinery and equipment, managing spare parts inventory, overseeing repairs of unplanned breakdowns, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. Additionally, they will recruit and manage staff, control the plant's budget, ensure food safety and health standards, and comply with relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will possess practical mechanical and electrical knowledge, leadership skills, and exhibit behavioural competencies such as accountability, critical thinking, and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality.Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Grade 12 qualification is required. Technical Qualification: N6 Millwright or equivalent technical qualification is necessary. Trade Certificate: Must hold a valid Millwright trade certificate. Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years' technical experience as a qualified Millwright, preferably with previous experience in an animal feed factory, advantageous.
