You'll oversee regular inspections to prevent breakdowns and expedite repairs for unplanned incidents. Managing the preventative maintenance program, optimizing workforce utilization, and analyzing data from the CMMS to improve equipment availability are crucial. Ensuring statutory compliance, recruiting competent staff, and managing performance are key aspects. Overseeing the plant's budget, monitoring food safety risks, and enforcing health and safety regulations are also part of your role. Conducting breakdown root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions are crucial for continuous improvement.Job experience and Skills Required: Grade 12 education N6 Millwright/Technical Qualification or Boilermaker certification with Trade certificate as a Millwright Registered Wireman’s Licence - Category 2: Installation Electrician 6 years technical experience as a qualified Millwright/Boilermaker, including 3 years as a Maintenance Foreman in manufacturing, with preference for animal feed factory experience.
