In this pivotal role, you will oversee the upkeep, functionality, and reliability of the Irrigation and Fertigation systems. Minimum Requirements: 5 years of hands-on experience with irrigation in agriculture A commitment to ongoing learning and development Ability to swiftly address emergencies Relevant, demonstrated expertise, with a preference for water management knowledge Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities A collaborative mindset, with a knack for thriving in team environments Self-motivated, determined, resilient, and grounded Duties and Responsibilities: Advanced Maintenance Strategies Providing Technical Assistance Ensuring Operational Excellence Formulating and Implementing Action Plans Establishing Procedures and Protocols Facilitating Training and Development Ensuring optimal availability of irrigation systems Supervising the irrigation technical team Maintaining irrigation equipment and infrastructure Coordinating energy supply for irrigation Managing upgrades and modifications to irrigation systems Contributing to the design and implementation of new systems Budgeting and financial management for repairs and maintenance Fostering the growth of technical and operational teams within the irrigation domain Collaborating with diverse Operational, Specialist, Technical, Engineering, and Business Intelligence Teams Salary is market related.
