Maintenance Planner (FMCG) - Piet Retief

• Grade 12/Matric.
• Trade tested and qualified as a Fitter, or Fitter & Turner.
• A National Diploma in Mechanical engineering would be advantageous.
• Prior experience in procurement and maintenance systems.
• MS Office proficient with advanced Excel knowledge.
• Initiative and drive to get the job done.
• Have confidence to work with the management team.
• Persistence and perseverance to get administrative tasks completed.
• A team player, hardworking and with a high regard for safety and quality.
• A tidy and detail orientated person.
• The discipline to implement and follow systems and procedures.
• Must be a good communicator and be able to work under pressure.

• Printing and controlling PM schedules.
• Capturing maintenance data on Asset Care and other cost management systems.
• Analysing job cards and closing off job cards on Shopware.
• Replenishing spares as required by placing orders with approved vendors.
• Controlling critical spares and stock counts.
• Placing and managing local purchases so that we receive stock/services on time.
• GRNs and following up on items ordered.
• Incoming goods receipt management.
• Administering Purchase Orders (POs) for suppliers/contractors.
• Ensuring supplier documentation is kept up to date and files are always BRC audit ready.
• Contributing to Cost Improvement projects by reducing the prices of purchased goods and services.
• Filing and document management.
• Other administrative tasks as required.
• Monthly reporting and analysis of downtime data.
