In this challenging role at this growing firm of Chartered Accountants and Auditors, you will compile audit plans, draft management letters, reports, and related documentation. As a middle management position reporting to the Partner/Director, our client requires an applicant with absolute integrity, exceptional communication, and leadership skills to uphold the firm's professional stature. The successful applicant will be accountable for the following key result areas: Planning, executing, and overseeing client assignments and projects to deliver excellent service professionally. Planning and executing operational and financial audits. Actively exploring and identifying business process risks, documenting evaluation results. Developing recommendations and reports based on audits, presenting ideas to senior management. Achieving team and individual budgets and business performance objectives. Managing project financials, including budgets, WIPS, timely billing, and variance recognition. Formulating professional development and educational plans for junior staff members (trainees as assigned and rotated throughout the year). Planning and allocating resources and individuals according to skills and schedules. Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements. What we want from you: Strong technical knowledge and skills. In-depth knowledge of IFRS guidelines and SAICA rules and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills. Effective time management skills Fluent in Afrikaans first language and English Good communicator Good organizational skills At least 1 year management experience (at least 6 staff members) Completed SAIPA/CIMA or SAICA articles At least completed a suitable Accounting degree Proficient in Caseware Can do attitude What we offer you: Remuneration: R30-50000 pm dependent on qualifications and experience Career and personal growth in a dynamic environment Exposure to a diverse client base Managerial experience
