Dynamic e-Commerce company is seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead their dynamic team and drive the strategic growth and success of the company . As General Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and smooth operations, working with a close-knit and diverse team of 14 staff members. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including: Warehousing, logistics, procurement, sales, marketing, finance, and customer service. This challenge requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a passion for innovation and customer service. Strategic Leadership: - Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive growth. - Lead, inspire and build high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results. - Establish, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and compliance. - Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 2. Operations Management: - Oversee all operational activities, including warehousing, logistics, procurement, sales, marketing, finance, and customer service. - Ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. - Hold regular meetings with all departments and identify, report and resolve issues. 3. Business Development: - Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the company's product offerings and customer base. - Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and reseller partners. - Manage and develop staff teams, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and coaching. 4. Sales and Marketing: - Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, working closely with our finance and marketing departments, to drive revenue growth and increase market share. - Analyse market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and operational improvement. 5. Financial Management: - Manage the company's financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating initiatives to maximize profitability. 6. Customer Service: - Champion a customer-centric culture and ensure the delivery of exceptional service and support to all customers. - Manage the interaction of our customer support, technical, procurement and operational departments to delight customers and maintain our brand image in the market. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or similar. Masters degree preferred. - Project management qualifications and experience advantageous. - Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in e-commerce, retail, logistics, or related industries. - Proficiency in using technology and business software applications for enterprise resource planning (ERP) and warehouse management systems (WMS). - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. - Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability. - Deep understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and technology trends. - Outstanding communication, negotiation, reporting and interpersonal skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions. - Results-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
