My client in the mining sector is looking for a Change & Services Introduction Management 6 months contract opportunity Purpose To lead a team of professionals that are trained to provide support, guidance and assistance to users of Operational Technology solutions and services within Global IM for the various sites and regions. Industry Knowledge requirements: IM discipline and governance Familiarity with IT monitoring and management tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds or similar platforms is often required In depth understanding of IT systems, networks and infrastructure Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow for incident management is also valuable A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often required. Certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are highly beneficial. Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for diagnosing and resolving IT incidents and problems effectively. An understanding of troubleshooting methodologies and tools is essential.
