Market leader in the load testing and inspection industry is expanding their dynamic team and is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing the market, achieve revenue and GP targets and build the brand. Sales Manage of team of internal and external sales Develop the performance testing and inspection market nationally as well as cross-border Drive sales of lifting equipment including chain blocks, lever hoists, slings, wire ropes, forklift cages, crane baskets and associated equipment Increase market share Create OEM brand awareness Develop a territory management plan Prepare sales forecasts and budgets Build sustainable and profitable customer relationships Identify new business opportunities, meet with customers and close deals Achieve annual revenue and gross profit objectives Deal with customers professionally and provide excellent service Provide support to LMI's, sales staff and customers Prepare and submit quotations Guide, mentor and develop sales consultants Develop a constructive relationship with other sales teams Actively look for opportunities to sell other products and services to existing customers Commercial and Operational Understand and be able to explain our Terms and Conditions of Sale to customers Ensure debtor days are managed in line with budget Adopt a strategic sales approach to ensure that revenue and GP targets are met Travel nationally and cross border Grade 12 Certificate Sales or marketing diploma/degree preferred 10 years' sales experience in a related industry Industry experience selling a range of lifting equipment such as chain block, lever hoists, slings, wire ropes, etc. Must be able to take a new brand of lever hoists and chain blocks into the market. Proven track record successfully managing a sales team and achieving targets R50 000 CTC (including medical aid & provident fund) Fuel Cell phone Laptop Commission
