Description Job Overview: The In-House Manager in the courier industry is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the in-house team, ensuring efficient package handling, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Supervise and lead the in-house team, including couriers, package handlers, and administrative staff. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction. Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues. Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage the daily operations of the in-house team. Develop and implement efficient workflows for package sorting, handling, and dispatching. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all operational activities. Resource Allocation: Optimize staff schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet delivery demands. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to streamline operations. Monitor and maintain courier fleet, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and available for use. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures for package handling and delivery processes. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliveries. Address and resolve any issues related to package mishandling or delivery delays. Customer Service: Work closely with customer service teams to address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality. Collaborate with the customer service department to resolve escalated issues. Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the in-house team. Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
