Join our esteemed client in guiding their financial journey. We're seeking a passionate Cashbook Manager to bring fresh energy to our team. As the Cashbook Manager you will be responsible for the below: Ensure all clearing accounts are zeroed out weekly. Follow the specific process for each clearing account. Monitor accounts and help staff clear deposits. Deposit receipts promptly or reverse to debtor accounts if payments are delayed. Accurately allocate deposits to the correct accounts. Maintain relationships with bankers and act as a liaison. Address and resolve banking issues effectively. Manage daily payments, ensuring timely releases and communication of proof of payment. Maintain and communicate staff responsibilities for EFT releases, both locally and internationally. Complete and send daily cash management reports in standard format. Include all bank accounts for relevant entities. Update the Banking Manual monthly. Update the ISO document bi-annually and the Auditors process flow document annually by July 31st. Upload and reconcile bank statements daily, resolving queries immediately. Approve matched transactions and maintain proper reconciliation records. Send documents to the bank immediately upon charge back notification. Debit client accounts promptly if charge back documents are insufficient. Prepare weekly bank account reports for GM Finance. Ensure bank accounts are reconciled daily for smooth processes. Conduct AVS checks per the "Releasing of Payment process" document. Lead new projects and processes within divisions. Assist with any tasks assigned by management, fostering teamwork and positive attitudes. Maintain effective communication and manage staff performance, including appraisals and development plans. Ensure neat work spaces and adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
