Our Client is seeking a Technical Manager Network and Security to join their team on a permanent basis 1. Strategic Planning and Contribution: Participate in the development of organisational strategies and plans as a key member of the management team. Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives aimed at achieving operational excellence. Operational Improvement: Identify and analyse operational processes, outputs, and feedback to improve systems and policies. Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of services by refining processes to meet SLA requirements. 2. Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors to ensure they meet SLA requirements and deliver quality services. Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms. Incident and Request Management: Oversee the lifecycle of incidents, requests, and IMACDs (Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete). Ensure all incidents and requests are handled in compliance with relevant SLAs. 3.SLA Management: Increase service effectiveness and efficiency by improving SLA adherence. Ensure all SLAs are fulfilled within the contracted agreements with customers. 4.Financial Management: Collaborate with the BU Manager on financial management, planning, systems, and controls. Assist in organising and managing fiscal documents and reports. 5.Quality Operations Management: Ensure quality operations management by optimising processes and workflows. Create and maintain an empowering work environment that maximises team productivity and aligns workforce efforts. Matric and a Relevant IT Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) 10-15 years experience in network and security Skilled in - OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPN, DNS, DHCP, OSI Model, multicast, routing and switching, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, MPLS. Understand security fundamentals and protocols (perimeter security, vulnerability, SOC, SIEM, security frameworks) Knowledge in ISO27001 Certification (Information and Data Security) Good understanding of firewall UTM(Unified Threat Management) features including web content filtering, IDS, IPS, DOS mitigation and Anti-virus, VoIP and QOS Salary Market Related
