A manufacturing group in Gauteng is seeking to employ an experienced and qualified Maintenance Manager to become an integral part of their production team. Meet with management and production staff to discuss maintenance / engineering specifications, procedures and downtime Controlling the maintenance budget and spares Set standards and procedures for the maintenance department Annalise downtime, coordinate productivity and improvement, resolve plant bottlenecks Monitor employee attendance, absence records and discipline Attend safety meetings Conduct one on one meetings with staff, training and keeping staff focused on the maintenance picture statement Ensure all legal requirements on all factories are met Monthly reports on downtime, budget and maintenance human capital Annual shut down planning Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Preferably GCC At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in a position with managerial proven experience Advanced computer skills Extensive technical knowledge Stable career record with sound references
