Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at one of it's Layer Farms in Gauteng for a Manager Farming Operations I to join our dynamic team. This position will report directly to the Manager Farming Operations II and will also be responsible for operational procedures on a layer farm. The position will be based in Bronkhorstspruit. Gauteng (Nulaid, Kaalfontein Laying). Manage production, quality parameters and set machinery Manage equipment and optimise raw material stock Manage farming operations cost efficiencies, adhere and ensure conformance to all SOP's & VCD's Manage personnel and plan work distribution Administer strict biosecurity protocols Relevant 3-4 year Degree/National Diploma (Agriculture) Minimum of 5 years relevant poultry farming operations experience will be advantageous Minimum knowledge of: Health & Safety Regulations, Animal Welfare, Bio-security procedures and vaccine administration Efficient in the use of Microsoft office Must have a valid driver's license, need to be comfortable staying on the farm (housing provided) Need to be comfortable to do night check routines on farm premises on a frequent basis.
